Everything about the Bataleon Disaster+
Everything about the Bataleon Disaster+
The Disaster+ is one of the lightest, fastest and most responsive jib boards on the market.

The heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It is an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the chance of edge bite without sacrificing ollie-power or carve performance. From this starting point we refine each element based on the desired riding style of the board.

Bataleon has packed the boards with high-end materials that you normally only find on freeride- and all-mountain boards, giving riders a unique freestyle experience.
Meet the Bataleon Women's Disaster
The Bataleon Women's Disaster is the snowboard for riders who want to fully unleash their creativity in the park. This board was developed for jibbers, butter lovers and freestyle snowboarders looking for a playful and forgiving board with a unique surfy feel. Thanks to the combination of a soft flex, low camber profile and Bataleon’s well-known Triple Base Technology™ the Disaster feels extremely loose, playful and catch-free. Perfect for presses, flatground Tricks, rails and sidehits
With a flex rating of 3/10 the Disaster is among the softer boards within the Bataleon lineup. That provides a smooth character that makes butter Tricks and creative lines feel effortless. Despite that soft flex the board retains enough pop thanks to the traditional camber profile between the bindings. This keeps the Disaster lively under your feet and delivers surprisingly much energy for ollies and spins. Especially freestyle riders who like to ride technically and develop their style will feel right at home on this board.
The 3BT™ technology combined with SideKick™ gives the Bataleon Disaster its unique character. The slightly raised sidebases make edge catches much less likely and ensure quick, smooth edge-to-edge transitions. This makes the board accessible and playful, while at the same time giving a lot of confidence on rails and in slushy conditions. Riders often describe the Disaster as “super surfy”, “playful” and extremely fun for creative park days.
In terms of construction Bataleon uses a durable Core Core poplar wood core with beech stringers for extra pop and stiffness. The Bi-Ax fiberglass layup keeps the board torsionally soft and easy to control, while the Hyper Glide S base provides sufficient speed and durability during intensive park sessions. In addition, the Flex Walls effectively absorb vibrations, making the board feel more stable and comfortable on rough snow.
The Bataleon Disaster is therefore the ideal choice for snowboarders looking for a true freestyle machine. From indoor halls and street spots to park laps and slushy resort days: this board is all about fun, creativity and progression. Looking for a snowboard that makes butter Tricks, presses and jib lines feel natural? Then the Disaster is exactly what you’re looking for.

Technical Specifications
Bataleon Snowboards offers cutting-edge snowboard designs and technologies, including the revolutionary 3D shaping system, for an unparalleled riding experience in the mountains. With a strong focus on precision, performance, and quality, Bataleon Snowboards is a leading brand that provides snowboarders of all levels the tools to push their limits and dominate the mountain.
A first-class, 7000-grade sintered base, reserved for our high-end models. By packing more molecules into P-tex, it's super strong and can go in any direction.
Full poplar wood core with hard beech wood stringers for extra reinforcement of the board's spine, more strength around the inserts and extra pop.
Our molded urethane sidewalls provide excellent shock absorption, reducing vibrations and chatter for a smoother and more stable ride. De Flexwalls provide extra flexibility and durability, so that the snowboard retains its performance even under extreme conditions. Thanks to the high impact resistance, your board will continue to perform at a top level season after season.
A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong, and playful; this keeps the board lively and responsive.
Camber profiles are defined from low to high. A higher camber yields more dynamic boards that must be ridden more aggressively for maximum performance. Boards with a lower camber are softer at lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...
The true twin shape ensures that the snowboard is symmetrical in terms of shape and flex, making riding in both directions equally comfortable and responsive.
