Everything about the Bataleon Thunderstorm
Everything about the Bataleon Thunderstorm
The ThunderStorm is built for high-energy resort rides and turbo-charged powder runs

The heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It is an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the chance of edge catch without compromising ollie power or carve performance. From this starting point we refine each element based on the desired riding style of the board.

The ThunderStorm is a directional board that switches effortlessly, a true hybrid 3D Freeride board that can still ride freestyle with ease.

Technical Specifications
Bataleon Snowboards offers cutting-edge snowboard designs and technologies, including the revolutionary 3D shaping system, for an unparalleled riding experience on the mountain. With a strong focus on precision, performance, and quality, Bataleon Snowboards is a leading brand that provides snowboarders of all levels the tools to push their limits and dominate the mountain.
A premium 7000-grade sintered base, reserved for our high-end models. By packing more molecules into the P-tex, it’s super strong and can go in any direction.
50/50 Paulownia and poplar wood creates a balanced core that is lively yet strong.
This is our urethane-reinforced sidewall technology. ShockWalls make your ride smoother and are better able to withstand shocks.
Triple fiberglass weave is light, strong and insanely responsive. We use this to reinforce the flex of the more aggressive boards.
Camber profiles are defined from low to high. A higher camber results in more dynamic boards that must be ridden more aggressively for maximum performance. Boards with a lower camber are softer at lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially for freeriding and in powder snow.
