Anon’s MFI Fleece Helmet Hood Black is my favorite helmet hood for true winter shredders. Made from heavy bonded fleece and nylon panels, it keeps harsh cold and snow out. The magnetic closure fits effortlessly on all Anon MFI-goggles, creating a seamless protection system from your helmet.
The fleece fabric is soft enough to easily pull over, yet sturdy enough to fit snugly thanks to the adjustable cord. In heavy snowfall, snow slides right off the nylon panels, and during intense runs, you can simply lower the inner layer for some ventilation — smart design! Used in places like Vail and Japanese powder, where the hood kept me warm and fog-free, even during long days on the lifts.
What I really love is that you can easily remove the magnet unit for washing or for use with non-MFI-goggles, making it super versatile.
Of course, the emphasis is on warm protection and functionality – this is gear for serious riders. It can be a bit too warm for short rides, but that’s a luxury problem. All in all, the Anon MFI Fleece Helmet Hood is an absolute must-have for me on colder or windy days on the slopes.
