Description
For comfort, the 360° BOA® fit system takes care of it. You simply turn the knob, and the helmet fits perfectly around your head, even when you have gloves on. The Fidlock® magnetic closure makes fastening and unfastening even easier – one click, done. No hassle with stiff buckles on the slopes.
I personally find the ventilation top-notch: 8 active ventilation channels on top and 11 fixed openings, totaling 19. This allows you to finely tune your temperature – perfect for changing conditions. Close it in cold wind, open it in warm weather. The snow-stopper fabric keeps snow out and keeps your head nice and warm.
It also scores high in terms of durability: the hybrid 50/50 shell consists of a hard Endura top and a light polycarbonate bottom. This makes it resistant to bumps, yet light enough for a long day of boarding.
What I also like: the ear pads are thermomolded and provide warm ears, but they don’t completely block out your sound hearing. And you can fit audio accessories in them, ideal for your favorite tunes.
In short, the Anon Merak WaveCel black is the helmet for those who want to combine safety, comfort, and ease of use this winter. I recommend it for anyone who trains hard and doesn’t want to make compromises – both on and off-piste.
