The Altai is designed with attention to detail and innovation, providing snowboarders with an outstanding experience in the mountains.
The Altai is built around an asymmetric upper that seamlessly fits Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points and ensuring a perfect fit. The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System features textile-coated laces and dual adjustment dials, allowing you to separately adjust the top and bottom of the boot for ultimate control and comfort.
Underneath the boot, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole provides impressive cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe for extra grip when walking on ice and rocks. We have optimized the connection between the outsole and the boot using a molded section we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent snagging in the heel cup of your binding.
Inside the Altai, there is a new heat-moldable Silver liner that allows you to customize the fit to your liking, but also feels comfortable straight out of the box. The Altai is a medium-stiff boot that gives ample lateral support, making it ideal for digging deep tracks on groomed runs or floating through trees with precision. Ready for anything. Designed to withstand. From the park to the podium, H4 withstands the impact of the most demanding snowboarders. The Coiler automatically takes up the slack in the laces, increases the speed of getting into the boot, and provides a precise fit that allows for micro-adjustments.
An extra layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel cup and the anatomical arch, while more comfortable EVA offers greater flexibility in the forefoot. A silicone top print provides traction to the fleece-lined insole.
This liner has been completely redesigned and has no pressure points; the closure occurs via the cuff that is attached to the inside of the shell. This makes the liner easy to put on and take off.
