The Never Summer Proto Slinger is an insane cocktail of a number of fantastic Never Summer boards and is on the freestyle side of the Proto series.
A completely new camber profile from Never Summer. A small piece of rocker straight in the center of the board, then large sections of camber under the bindings. Just before the tip and tail, there is a small piece of flat, to maximize the effect of the camber without compromising on floatation and maneuverability in powder.
Crown Plastics has developed an exclusive, super-fast, durable sintered base specifically for Never Summer's high-end boards. The exact amount of graphite has been added, making the Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base the fastest one they use.

The Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base from Never Summer is an advanced sintered snowboard base, valued for its durability and speed. It offers excellent glide performance thanks to its smooth surface and low friction coefficient, while also effectively absorbing wax for long-lasting performance.
A poplar wood core with sustainable beech wood to create the lightest core from Never Summer. The core is sanded in the Never Summer workshop to work with millimeter precision. This gives the boards the perfect flex in the right place.
Bi-lite fiberglass is a lightweight fiberglass weave that is used in the construction of Never Summer snowboards. This material provides the right balance between strength and weight, allowing snowboarders to experience optimal control and responsiveness on various terrains and in different conditions.
Vario Power Grip Sidecut uses multiple radii, giving you extra edge grip. The flat part in the rocker section becomes one large contact point when you flex it, and without pressure, the board will go straight. The tips of the board have a shorter radius, allowing you to initiate turns more quickly.
Never Summer introduces a completely new camber profile, with a slight rocker in the middle of the board, followed by large sections of camber under the bindings. Just before the tip and tail, there is a small flat section to optimize the benefits of camber, without compromising buoyancy and maneuverability in powder snow.
The Asymmetrical Twin has the same shape for both the tip and the tail, with centrally placed inserts for equal amounts of nose and tail experience, an identical flex in both the nose and the tail, and a deeper sidecut on the heel edge for improved edge grip.
