The new Jones Rally Cat is the perfect all-mountain directional twin, ideal for relaxed cruising and freestyle fun in the park. With its friendly shape and easy maneuverability thanks to the 3D contour base, this directional twin is perfect for taking your skills to the next level. The full camber profile with a directional twin shape and softer flex offers the perfect combination of technology to handle any terrain.
With a medium flex of 4/10, the Rally Cat provides good stability at high speeds and is easy to turn and maneuver. The traditional full camber profile ensures the best edge grip and stability. The camber radius transitions into the 3D-contoured base and releases the edges so you don't catch and lose your balance, providing a less 'catchy' feel while keeping the board responsive.
The shape of the Rally Cat is a directional twin, which means the board rides like a twin with a slight directional shape. This provides better performance when riding forward, while still allowing you to ride switch whenever you want. The 3D Base Contour 2.0, with a balanced 4mm bevel in the nose and tail, ensures that the board rolls through turns instead of landing flat, making your turns smoother and more natural.
The progressive sidecut of the board consists of two blended radii to accommodate the three phases of a turn. This allows for easy turn initiation and provides more control during the turn and maximum power when exiting the turn. The core, the Control Core, consists of a dual-density full wood core with a 2:1 paulownia to poplar stringer ratio to keep the core light and super dampening. The double-layer, double-directional, stitched fiberglass laminate provides a fun, forgiving, and lively ride.
The ECO-Plastic Topsheet, made from castor beans, is ultralight, chip/scratch-resistant, and water/snow repellent. The Sintered 8000 base is made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene and carbon, making it easy to repair, highly wax absorbent, and super fast.
The Rally Cat is also equipped with Bio Resin, Traction Tech, recycled ABS, Wend Bio Wax, and oversized recycled edges. Each Jones snowboard is factory detuned at the tip and tail, so you can ride it right away. With Forever Flex, the boards are slightly overbuilt and broken in with specialized machines that simulate riding use, providing a much more accurate flex rating.
