Everything about the Jones Mercury bindings
Everything about the Jones Mercury bindings
The Jones Mercury bindings combine technical precision and comfort for an ultimate snowboarding experience.
Jones bindings offer adjustable damping and responsiveness by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. With Surf Mode, you can tweak harder, while Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum response.
The NOW Skate Tech system works like a skateboard truck and improves board control while reducing foot fatigue by transferring energy directly from the binding to the edges of the board through a dynamic design.
The Jones Mercury snowboard binding is designed for the all mountain / freeride boarder and features a stiff baseplate and a slightly more flexible highback. Additionally, the binding is equipped with NOW-Skate technology that ensures direct power transfer for maximum grip and responsiveness.
The Jones Mercury is the ideal all mountain / freeride - surf snowboard binding.
The Jones Mercury is a versatile snowboard binding that offers a perfect combination of supreme control and comfort. Do you want to freeride and seek maximum support? Or do you want lots of freedom when surfing through the powder? Adjust the Flip-It ankle strap and blast or surf down the mountain!
For this season (2023), the popular Jones Mercury has received an upgrade with 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe straps that fit even better on every snowboard boot. Last season, the binding was already equipped with a new highback. This Control Flex Highback, as Jones calls it, absorbs vibrations even better and reduces pressure on the calves. Additionally, there are new 3D AuxTech toe straps. These provide more comfort, durability, and responsiveness. To make the bindings even easier and quicker to close, Jones has equipped the Mercury with ASYM buckles. These upgraded aluminum buckles are lightweight and strong. This season, Jones has added the Hanger 3.0 and the Power Spine Ankle Straps to this already rich binding. The wide lower part of the Power Spine Strap is softer for more comfort and conforms better to the boot. In the middle, the strap has an extra spine that provides additional stiffness for ultimate responsiveness.
Smooth pressure distribution through NOW Skate Tech
The snowboard bindings from Jones are equipped with Now Skate Tech. A unique system that uses a hinge in the middle of the binding. As a result, you experience smooth pressure distribution from the toe and heel sides of the binding on the snowboard.
The Jones Mercury is easy to mount on any snowboard using the included 4x4 discs, which can also be mounted on a Burton board with a channel.
Tweaking your bindings during the day? No problem! The Mercury is fully adjustable without any tools or wrenches.
