Meet the Burton Family Tree Hometown Hero
Take on the challenge and conquer everything on this all-in-one board - the Burton Hometown Hero. With plenty of time spent in the tight trees and icy lines of Vermont, we've built this snowboard to blast through anything. It’s a daily companion with a construction and materials that live up to the Family Tree name.
The directional shape has enough taper to keep the nose floating on deeper days, while the directional camber and flexibility of the board maintain the pop to keep it lively in all conditions and terrains.
With a Freeride Directional Shape, this board will take you stylishly downhill for a twin freestyle feel when riding on flat ground. On edge, it turns tight and fast with the soft snow feel of a directional deck.
Strategically placed fiberglass reinforces the nose and tail for strength and responsiveness when riding through rough terrain.
Family Tree boards are designed to fuel the freeride mentality, and the Hometown Hero gives you the full power to head out in any conditions.
With directional camber, a Freeride Directional Shape, a twin flex, and a 12mm taper, the Burton Hometown Hero offers everything you need for a powerful and versatile ride. With features such as Balanced Freeride Geometry, Pro-Tip™, and Sintered WFO-base, this board is suitable for intermediate to advanced snowboarders. Additionally, it is made with Super Sap® Epoxy for a sustainable and responsible choice.

Technische specificaties
Burton snowboards stand for innovation, quality, and performance, designed to meet the needs of both beginners and professional riders. They combine timeless design with modern technologies to create versatile, reliable boards that offer optimal control and riding enjoyment on any terrain.
This stands for "Wide F!#@%ing Open," and this indicates that the base has a special finish to make it even faster.
The "Super Fly II" core is designed for an optimal balance between weight, strength, and performance. The "700G" indicates the weight of the core in grams, which shows that this core is relatively light. A lighter core can help reduce the weight of the snowboard, which is beneficial for maneuverability and playfulness.
All Burton snowboards from 2014 and newer with The Channel mounting system (like the snowboard you’re looking at here) are covered by a three-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Triax™ with Carbon I-Beam™ is a high-quality construction technology that enhances the performance of a snowboard by providing the right balance between flexibility and stiffness.
Directional Camber snowboards are ideal for off-piste adventures, deep powder snow, and high-speed descents, with excellent flotation in powder snow and optimal performance in various conditions, making them appealing to snowboarders who value precision and control.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially in freeride and powder snow.
